I hope everyone had an amazing 4th of July weekend.. We spent a good deal of it painting orders, but I was able to get a little bit of stitching time. I am currently working on the USA map in Planet Earth Silks. I love the vibrance of the colors, especially the Maui and the Poseidon!!!! I am still trying to determine what I will use for the background on this beauty... I am open to suggestions from those of you who are truly experts!!!
As you can see, most of my stitching is done with a curious 9 month old Frenchton in my lap...
These are available plain or with the busy pattern on our website. I am waiting on them to arrive from the painting service, but I paint 1-2 a week just so I can start getting them into people's hands as quickly as possible.
We are currently working on a 4-6 week turnaround on website orders. Our local painters have gotten a little bit behind, so Dean and I are painting most of the orders. Paint services are still quoting anywhere from 12-18 weeks. Please remember to be patient with your custom designer, we work 7 days a week and it still just isn't enough....
